Apple Cider Pork Chops

Container Equivalents (per serving): 1 Red, 1/2 Green, 1/2 Purple

4 boneless pork loin chops
1 yellow onion, sliced
2 gala apples, sliced
2 teaspoons dried thyme
1 teaspoon garlic powder
1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
3/4 cups apple cider
Salt & Pepper
Olive oil cooking spray

1. In a large pan, spray cooking spray over high heat. Salt and pepper pork chops. Cook the pork chops for about 6-7 minutes or until fully cooked. Remove from pan and set aside.
2. Spray more cooking spray, and add onions and apples. Saute for about 3 minutes or until onions soften. Add thyme, garlic powder, and apple cider. Bring to a boil, and let cook for about 4-5 minutes.
3. Add pork chops back into the pan and turn to coat each side with the cider sauce.
4. Serve

  1. I just have to ask. Is this really apple cider vinegar? Or is that a typo and perhaps it is just apple cider? I just love your web site and all of the amazing recipes, but 3/4 cups of vinegar just sounds terrible!
