Whole30 Day 3

I actually slept like a baby!! Did not wake up once! I love when that happens!

In the morning I was too lazy to actually make food. I don’t know if it’s because I slept so good and was comfortable, that I did not want to get up. I just wanted to stay in bed longer, but I forced myself to get up. So I decided to make banana scrambled eggs. I had ripe bananas that I need to use up, so I mashed one banana with two eggs and sprinkled in some ground cinnamon and cooked it in one tablespoon of coconut oil. Very yummy and satisfying!

It’s Friday, which means no meat during lent season. This makes me sad. This makes me miss meat. But it’s only one day right?! It’s an excuse to eat shrimp! At least I like shrimp. So for lunch I decided to make myself some canned tuna mixed with some spicy brown mustard. I wish I had whole30 compliant mayo at the time, but it was still good.

Anyways, I was out running errands and decided to stop by at Whole Foods. I never go shopping at Whole Foods and I think this is the first time I have stepped into Whole Foods since I don’t even know when! However, I really wanted to buy some whole30 compliant condiments! I was able to get whole30 compliant mayo, salad dressings, barbecue sauce and some other things! I even got Larabars, which I know you’re not exactly supposed to eat them during Whole30, but they are compliant! Plus I’ve been seeing them all over the Internet and have never tried them before, so I decided to buy it. Since I was running errands and it took me longer than expected, I decided to have one for the day.

I finally got home around 7 after running errands since like noon. I made Zoodles With Shrimp Marinara. It was oh so yummy!! Shrimp gets me through on days that I cannot have meat!

Since I was running errands all day, I was not able to work out! I did do a lot of walking around the stores I suppose, so at least I was not sitting on my butt all day. Anyways, I think since I was pretty busy running errands, I had energy. I did not feel hungry or tired. According to the whole30 website, people go through the “hangover” on day 2-3. I have not yet experienced that. I thought I was going to in the morning since I was too lazy to get up and make food, but then I got a burst of energy! Am hoping my “hangover” doesn’t happen over the weekend though! Maybe I can just skip this whole hangover thing.
