Caramelized Brussel Sprouts & Bacon

Serves 1
Container Equivalents (per serving): 1 Red, 1 Green

1 cup brussel sprouts
4 slices of turkey bacon
1/4 onion, diced
Salt & pepper
Juice from 1/2 lemon
Nonstick spray

1. Cut brussel sprouts in half.
2. In a large skillet, cook bacon until evenly browned. Remove bacon from skillet.
3. Spray nonstick spray, and cook onions until translucent.
4. Add the brussel sprouts, stirring until brussel sprouts are golden and tender, for about 10 minutes.
5. Add the bacon back into the skillet
6. Squeeze lemon juice over cooked brussel sprouts and season with salt and pepper.
